Easter Fun and Yum

Saturday was wonderful because I was off from church duties! But I was still up at dawn preparing food and projects for the kids Easter fun! For lunch we attended Jaden's 1 year birthday party. Thanks for the great food and fun games Mark and Joan. The kids had a blast and are still treasuring their goodie bag. Evening was spent at the B. grandparents. Everyone cooked and we had such another splendid feasting. We celebrated mom B's birthday and had that delicious purple cake! I miss not having any classroom kids to do projects with and celebrate the holidays. So, I did a few fun projects with the cousins. We made edible bird nests from chocolate rice crispy treats, painted and colored hard boiled eggs, and of course had an egg hunt. Please see Grace's page for pictures soon. Sunday was spent with my family at Home Town Buffet. The kids got even more Easter basket goodies. Wow it totally feels like Halloween again with all the candies. When all the hype wears down in a day or so I will need to baggie it all and give it out in rations. In diet news I HAVE LOST 4 POUNDS! Happy new week to all. Gonna be a busy one for me with finals and projects, ewie.

Thanks for planning the Easter festivities for Sat. We had a blast with the cousins, as usual. We even stayed up past midnight watching Enchantment.

I love Enchanted, and so did Ryan! Wish we were there for the egg hunt, that's my favorite part!
