Just a Quickie

I just have less than 10 min. to blog. So I will give you the short version of updates. Labor Day weekend was just that--labor some. It was freaking HOT too. We broke records. We rearranged our house again, mainly so I can have an office to do my schoolwork. We did get to visit family and friends, do a bit of shopping, and swimming. So it was a good weekend overall. We almost bought a new mattress set. I am such a suck up and if it weren't for the hubs I would have bought the first one I saw. Mattress discounters had everything--metal brackets, box springs, 2 mattress pieces for all 1047. Does that sound reasonable??? Includes free delivery and take away too. I know I need to shop around. But I just fell in love with the set. I started my classes on line today, but the Internet connection SUCKS. It takes 5 minutes or more to load each thing I click on. I had to use the dial up way so I could at least look at my syllabus and get my assignment dates. Feel sorry for the hubs too because the slow connection ruins his stats. Oh well, at least I can go to school in my P.J.'s and in AC. So far just introducing myself to the class and trivial intro things. One book isn't here yet either. UGGGG. Well, hubs has to get back to work and I don't want to tie up the phone line anymore. Don't forget to answer the survey. Thanks.

Did you guys look at Costco for mattresses? We found them cheaper...never pay full price. mattresses are one thing that can be a real racket, and they have lots of leeway in price.

thanks, but does costco include everything?? The bottom, springs, and 2 mattress pieces??? Yes, we will be shopping around.

Yes, and they set it up, too. I don't think they take the old mattress, but I don't know for sure. You have to order from costco, usually...go online and look.
