Daddy's Owie

So, the morning began with loading 2 sleepy kids in the car and driving them for drop off at grandma K. Then the hubby and I heading to the dr. We were early, but that never seems to matter at Kaiser because they were behind. My hubby was in good spirits. Around 10:15 they called his name. I tried to read magazines to get my mind off his surgery. I kept seeing guys open the door and walk bow legged with ice towards their wife or partner. About 30 minutes later my hubby wheeled himself out with his handicap scooter. He said, "That wasn't so bad." He said the only part that hurt were the 2 shots into the scrotum. He could feel tugging and pulling. He said it was gross because he could smell burning skin as they burned the tubes. He had taken 3 tylonels while we waited. I had a frozen bag of blueberries ready. Bought some bad food, Chinese and donuts (hey daddy deserved a reward). We watched the movie "Fur" with Nicole Kidman. I keep changing baggies of crushed ice. So far the hubby just said he feels sore. He is sleeping. I am doing my best to try and keep the kids from jumping on the bed and on their dad. Compared to his hernia operation a few years ago which was very owie, he doesn't seem to be suffering that much as of yet. I will issue more tylonel when he awakes. Thanks for your well wishes.
