It's Beginning to Look alot Like Christmas

Christmas decorating in our house has begun. Tree is up, lit, and decorated, mantle and piano are topped with Christmas cheer. The rest of the house will be all done by the start of December this weekend. This is my most favorite time of year and I want to enjoy every moment and day to the fullest because it will go by way to fast. Got to get the kids fed and bathed because grandma and grandpa K. are coming to babysit while I go to a boring board meeting. It is to receive credit for the class I am taking. Yea. Tis the season....Hope everyone is getting in on the Christmas cheer too. :)o

Good for you! Kev & I always disagree about the tree (he wants a real one I prefer fake) so not sure when we'll get that done. I did unpack my measly box of Christmas stuff though. Baby steps right?

There is nothing wrong with fake trees. We are using my classroom tree which was a Wal-mart special 3 years ago for 16 bucks. It is a 6 footer. We just elevate it higher with a table. Very green and realistic. Sure you don't get the real tree smell, but you don't have the mess of the real one either. Have fun putting up your stuff tiff and Grace!

My parents have had the same fake tree for thirty years. You don't spend money each year for a tree, are guaranteed and good look (since real ones can be somewhere deformed, don't have to worry about feeding the tree, and don't have to worry about the mess while the tree is there and the clean up afterwards. However, having said all that... there is nothing like the fresh smell of a real tree :)

I'm partial to real trees. Maybe because we don't have a lot of trees here in So Cal. There's nothing that beats the smell of a real tree. We make a big event out of picking the "perfect" tree.

I favor a real tree for our main tree downstairs...and although it's never perfect, every year we're convinced it's the best tree ever! I love going to pick out the tree with the kids...that's the fun part.

But real or fake doesn't matter, Christmas just wouldn't be the same without a tree. Heheheheheh!
