Library, School and Hair Scare

Since my time is more limited now, I take the kids to the library only 2 times a month. Today was our library and story time at the Chula Vista library. Stories were all about animals and the lady brought in all kinds of stuffed critters and puppets. We sang songs and read stories. At the end each kid got a balloon. How nice. Then afterwards it was book renewal time. Trying to help two toddlers get books is just madness usually. However, I discovered they had computer games for kids who have a library card. I put Emeline on the computer while I helped Noah. Whew what a fabulous idea. I got Noah some older kid books on trucks with colorful photos and diagrams. He was so excited. Came home and had to set up my next set of appointments and observations. While daddy was on kid duty I heard Emeline run out and share that they were playing pretend haircut. She had a clump of hair in her hand. She led us into the kitchen and showed us the scissors and her hair and stated "I don't like my hair long." Luckily it was just a small clump and didn't effect her look. Daddy convinced her that long hair is more beautiful and we put a quick end to the pretend hair salon. I just discovered our fridge must be too cold because I found ice on some of the veggies. Better go cook and save some now. Happy October already.

LOL about Emeline cutting her hair. I think every little girl goes through that.

I remember when Rich thought I needed a haircut when we were little. Brat. haha. I feel Emeline's want to chop it off though! haha.

Short hair can be adorable on little girls, too! (I'm just saying that because Ella is practically bald!) :)
