The Perils of A Mom

This mom got up at 6 a.m. showered, and headed early to church to prepare. She had good intentions of stapling some new felt to the Sabbath school board and add some "March stuff" to the the room. The stapler jammed and broke after the 2nd use. So I improvised with pins and needles. It was a sunny day so she enjoyed her quiet and solemn ride home to prepare the family. As she got out of the car in the driveway was a huge ripping sound. Her skirt had split all the way up the back. Then upon entering the house, the buckle on her new sandals broke. The mom threw off her clothes in a flash and frantically looked for a "new alfit." One hour till sabbath school and the rest of the family awakes. No stress. Clothes and church bag were packed and ready to go. Amazingly the whole family does make it on time for sabbath school and has a great time. During church the family settles into their favorite balcony view spot. Noah decided it was more fun to smash his snack into the carpet and play noisily with his toys. Emeline wouldn't accept anything less than perfect and cried and threw little fits under the pew throughout most of the service. After feeding lunch to her crew, the mom settles in for a much needed nap. Tonight will be spent with the B. family as we share dinner and view pictures from mom and dads trip.

RE: surgery...you've already gone through enough with birthing two children! I think it's Remo's turn to go under the knife instead and get it snipped if you really don't want more kids! :) It's only fair!
