Family Fun

We had received passes to the science center exhibits and science stations for Christmas. We decided to go as a family today and check it out. They have 2 levels of fun. Bottom level has experiments for older kids. Upstairs is the grossology area, and a kid city for up to age 6. Emeline and Noah had a blast for 2 hours. Noah loved the shopping carts and life size fake grocery foods. The check out had this steering wheel and really required manual labor to operate. Emeline liked the magnetic letter board with huge letters and numbers. She was of course drawn to the books and found the story she has been listening to on the computer "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom." There were just a few other kiddies their with parents too. I was so impressed with Emeline. The other girl was being the CHIEF and Emeline was listening and participating so nicely. What fun! We'd love to take Jada, Nicholas, and Ryan! Emeline and Noah played around the famous spouting water outside the science center. Daddy thought he'd do an experiment with Emeline. He told her to throw her sandal into the water. It was so light it floated. But it floated out of reach and into the center. Daddy told Emeline if she wanted her shoe to step into the water and get it. Finally Emeline went in knee deep and got her shoe and wanted to do the experiment again. The rest of day we came home to enjoy our air conditioning and veg. Too hot to do anything. I feel so sleepy and lazy. I have enjoyed these last few days of quality time with the family and my hubby.

What fun!! I think that Nicholas would have a blast as well. Let me know what day everyone else wants to go and we'll be there.

What is cool is that we can take up to 6 kids in for free. So we can take jada, nicholas, and ryan in. I think it is 6-8 dollars for any extra adults. But definitely let's go when Ryan comes!

Yes, we will have to go when Ryan is in town. I can take a few hours off from work for fun with the kiddies. Just let me know way ahead of time so I can put in my "sick" leave.
