Family Fun and SICK again

Well, we did have a blast at Disneyland and California Adventure. It was wonderful to have a motel with fresh linens and bath towels and a clean room to retire too each evening. We only stayed out each day for about 5-6 hours. Noah was 2 the last time we went and Emeline was 4. So this current trip will be the one they will remember most and best. Both were the perfect height for all the coasters and "grown up" rides. We did space mountain and Emeline and her dad went on Indiana jones. She said it was too scary and won't ever ride it again. The favorite ride of Noah was the "monster ride" (Materhorn) and Emeline loved the Mountain railroad coaster. You really do need a week to enjoy both parks to the max! Unfortunately we all got a bad bad cold virus. I had the kids sanitize after every ride, but we still got sick. It has been a week now and the kids and I still are coughing. At least the congestion is about gone. Coughing is not as frequent. Things are subsiding thank goodness. This has been the worst cold I think I have ever experienced. Normally it lasts a few days, but this is just nasty. Emeline has missed almost 2 weeks of school due to vacation and being sick. But enough is enough already. I hope that we are done with the sick and all the bad germs for the whole winter now. This week is going by so slow. We are all housebound and getting on each other's nerves. Hoping that by the weekend we are done and can have fun. :)
