2010

Another new year has begun. It began with a giant slumber party at auntie aprils new home. It is so nice because each family could have their own room! The kids were still up this year when the year officially changed. In fact, they were up way up into the new year. I finally put mine down to bed at 1 because they were just too cranky and grumpy. I stayed up past 2 then retired. There were many things to celebrate and therefore I did partake in a few grown up mixed drinks. Not enough to make me puke or get sick, but heck I am a grown up and what is wrong with experiencing life just a bit.

The next day we celebrated Emeline's birthday. I still can't believe I have a 7 year old. Emeline had picked out several games to play at the party in fact she chose the agenda. Instead the kids made up their own entertainment and went on a spider killing mission throughout the house with their nerf guns and light sabers. Priceless fun!

I am so looking forward to this next week! Our family will be staying in a motel and enjoying the magic kingdom land for a whole week! I am happy the B. grandparents will be joining us for 2 days too! It will be nice to take our time throughout the two parks and just enjoy family time together before coming back and hitting the realities of work and school again.
