Great Weekend but Over TOO FAST

Saturday was my day off from church duties. It was such a lovely day that we decided to enjoy the aquariums at Seaworld. We also had to say farewell to Captain Kids World/Shamu's Happy Harbor. On Monday it will be closing down until summer of 2008. They will be taking 3/4 of it away. Rest of it will be undergoing upgrades and maintenance. The new and improved play area will be called "Sesame Street By the Bay." There will be a stage and characters from Sesame Street. There will be 3 fun rides for kids including teacups, and a roller coaster. The 4D movie will change to Sesame Street theme too. Remo and I got quite a workout as we climbed the ropes and higher apparatus 2 times so the kids could get in their last thrills.

Sunday the first Adventurer meeting kicked off. We don't have a place to meet at the church because other people rent out the church on Sunday. We meet at various scheduled parks. I prefer the outdoors while the weather is nice. The meetings are early Sunday morning so you can still have the rest of your day to do whatever. We have a group of over 25 kids. Today was mostly introductions, our laws and pledge, and small groups. I think it will be a fabulous year. Emeline did a great job keeping up with the older kids in marching and singing. In fact she couldn't stop singing the theme song all afternoon. She was even playing "The Club" with her toys. Noah was his shy self, but he was happy and I think the exposure is good for him. The rest of the day was spent doing household chores and school work. WAY TO GO CHARGERS ON THEIR FIRST WIN!!! :-)

DS had fun too. He didn't want to leave. He wanted to stay and continue to do his crafts.
